It’s Christmas. Honest.

After getting on with no longer being delinquent in writing a list for my mom, I’m spending time on eMusic working on spending the rest of my month allotment of songs with Christmas tunes. (To further get in the Christmas spirit, I’m going to watch The Golden Compass tomorrow, probably the 4:45 show at the Davis)

In my searching for new, non-sucky tunes, I ran across an album to which my only rational response was “Oh My God.”

What album, you ask?

Monster Ballads Xmas

The most hilarious thing about the album? Stryper performs a non-religious song. Were they worried about damaging their street cred? On an album with Nelson and Winger? Stryper? Huh?

For the interested, the downloaded songs below the fold

Low - Long Way Around the Sea
The Sheila Divine - O Holy Night
Mediaevel Baebes - The Holly & The Ivy
