Scalzi visits the Creationary Era
I’m working my way through Scalzi’s Flickr Set of his time at the Creation Museum. Assuming that neither you nor anyone close to you could reasonably describe you as a “crazy fundie nutbar” or “ID Theorist,” you’ll enjoy both the essay and photoshoot. Right now I’m a little stuck on this gem:
Maybe it’s just me, but the bit about “changed use of chemicals” seems even more far fetched than most of the plots from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I also like the implication that jellyfish, cobras, spiders and the like all got together and learned their own variant of alchemy. That’s special.
