You’re moving in the right direction

Scalzi: what people should be focusing on is the essentially ridiculous current length of copyright.

Commenter: I think that this is absolutely correct. Life plus seventy years is pretty ridiculous. Life plus twenty is probably more reasonable.

Me: “Live plus twenty is probably more reasonable”? I guess if you’re more limp than a properly cooked noodle. It is, truthfully, a more reasonable stance, but it’s still pretty far beyond truly reasonable.

How about twenty? No life plus, just 20 years of copyright.
