A Spin excerpt

I found myself conducting imaginary conversations with her, usually late at night, offering asides to the starless sky. I was selfish enough to miss her but sane enough to know we had never really been together. I was fully prepared to forget about her.

I just wasn’t prepared to see her again.

    Yeah. I actually just finished re-reading it and I’m pretty sure I like it better the second time around, which is something because I liked it a lot on the first pass through. I didn’t like Axis as much, though.
