Love the things you try

I was going to go to sleep at a vaguely normal time tonight and not wake up with a bizarre dream that would keep me up until 5 and would lead to other bizarre dreams. Tonight was supposed to be normal night, so productivity and typical human sleep schedules could arise.

Except, clearly, that didn’t happen, and I blame JoCo. Because the Best. Concert. Ever. came in the mail today, a fact I didn’t notice until a couple hours ago. Except for the inability for JoCo and co to hear my witty repartee tonight, and that the Orange Cat didn’t seem to enjoy it as much as the friends I went with to the Chicago show in February, it was pretty much the same experience.

Which is to say: this is the most flat out enjoyable and entertaining concert DVD I’ve ever seen. I’ll watch this again. I’ll clap in places again. I’ll sing along as much and as badly as I want to again. I proclaim my love for my fellow nerd tribe members again. At some point, I’ll try and force those as yet uninitiated into Coultonmania to watch this, and if it happens once, it’ll surely happen again.

It’s like a giant Life Tastes Better pill, laced with caffeine.
